A Full Day of Growth, Every Week.

Saturday Academy is CAFE's flagship weekend program for young people ages 6 to 18. Every Saturday, students move through seven academic, artistic, and professional development tracks, each designed to build real skills. With 30 years of experience behind us and a 99% college enrollment rate among alumni, CAFE knows what it takes to prepare young people to lead. Saturday Academy is where that preparation begins.

Seven Tracks. One Program.

From code to choreography, every track is taught by skilled instructors and tied to real academic and career outcomes.

Coding & Robotics

Students design, build, and program in a hands-on lab environment. From basic logic to robot challenges, this track develops the systematic thinking your child will carry into every classroom and career.

SAT Prep

Structured college readiness instruction in math, reading, and writing. Students practice under real test conditions, track their progress, and build the confidence to sit for the SAT on their own terms.

Math & Reading Tutoring

Small-group instruction that strengthens language arts and mathematics at every level. Students get targeted support in the foundational skills that matter most for academic achievement.

Music Theory

CAFE students prepare for a music theory examination developed by the Maryland State Board of Music Teachers. Rigorous, credential-building music education with real academic weight.

Music Practical

Performance-based instruction on steelpan and other instruments. Students develop technical skill, musical ear, and the discipline of regular practice, with performance opportunities throughout the year.

Dance

Dance at CAFE is cultural, athletic, and precise. Students explore movement rooted in Caribbean and African diaspora traditions while building physical discipline, spatial awareness, and stage presence.

Workforce Training

Resume building, career exploration, and workplace readiness for middle and high school students. Students identify their strengths, learn professional communication, and leave with practical tools for the future.
